This summer, many regions in Zhejiang experienced successive heatwaves, pushing the total social power load steadily higher. Data from State Grid Zhejiang Electric Power Co., Ltd. shows that the maximum total social power load of Zhejiang exceeded 131 million kilowatts on August 11, marking the fourth record high set this year.

Faced with the severe test of power demand, LISINER’s independent energy storage power stations in Wenzhou and Zhoushan gave full play to regional characteristics and strategic advantages, rolling out a combined set of measures to cope with peak summer load by supporting local industries and safeguarding people’s livelihood. Meanwhile, the diversified revenue structure delivers improved power supply resilience and economic returns.
The synergy enabled by intelligent dispatching, precise response and refined strategies constitutes LISINER’s competitive edge in energy operation. The two power stations complete more than two charge and discharge cycles on average each day, outperforming comparable projects. Supported by high-efficiency operation, they gain advantages in market response. Participating in various trading services including peak shaving and frequency regulation, the projects have formed an operation model of strategy-driven independent energy storage.
Wenzhou, Zhejiang | Supporting Industrial Power Supply to Cope with Peak Loads
An annual power discharge volume exceeding 120 million kWh is the remarkable result delivered by LISINER’s 100MW/200MWh independent energy storage power station in Wenzhou within its first year of operation. As one of Wenzhou’s major construction projects under the Hundred Projects and Hundred Billion Plan, the Wenzhou power station has served as a reliable guarantee and vital regulation resource for local industries since grid connection on June 30 last year. Amid persistent extreme weather this summer, the station achieved a 100 percent response rate to dispatching orders to effectively ease grid pressure. It delivered 11 million kWh of electricity in a single month, empowering more than 3000 surrounding manufacturing enterprises to weather peak power demand and supporting Wenzhou’s strategy of building a strong industrial city.

The high annual discharge volume of the project stems from LISINER’s precise strategic layout and efficient dispatching and operation capabilities. Supported by the intelligent regulation platform and urban comprehensive smart energy complex operation center, the team captures market signals in real time and flexibly adjusts charging and discharging rhythms to maximize benefits. With continuous improvement of policies and mechanisms, the Wenzhou power station obtains auxiliary service compensation during key periods of peak load in summer and winter, further enhancing operational resilience and sustainable profitability.
Driven by the dual missions of industrial power consumption and green transition, the green power consumed by the power station each year equals a carbon dioxide emission reduction of 82,000 tons, achieving simultaneous growth in economic returns and green value.
Zhoushan, Zhejiang | Pioneer for People’s Livelihood Security, Building a Highly Resilient Power Grid
With an annual power discharge exceeding 127 million kWh, sufficient to meet the electricity demand of 63,500 local households in Zhoushan. As the only grid-side energy storage project in Daishan, LISINER’s 109.5MW/219MWh independent energy storage power station in Daishan, Zhoushan safeguards local residential power supply. Meanwhile, it plays a vital role in smoothing wind power fluctuations and effectively regulating grid frequency.
The sea area around Daishan boasts abundant wind power resources, yet output fluctuates significantly due to variable wind conditions. The operation of LISINER’s Zhoushan power station greatly boosts the grid’s capacity to accommodate green power and supports the construction of a robust power grid.

Taking the variable meteorological conditions of islands into consideration, LISINER carried out targeted design ranging from equipment selection to operation strategies, ensuring stable operation of the power station under high temperature, high humidity, high salt spray and other harsh environments. Upon grid connection, the project has participated in various market-oriented services including peak shaving, frequency regulation and standby power supply. By adopting intelligent algorithms to forecast electricity price curves and grid dispatching instructions, it achieves incremental revenue growth while maintaining high charge and discharge levels.
*Calculated based on an annual electricity consumption of 2000 kWh per household.
With deepened market-oriented reforms and a rising share of new energy sources, energy demand is becoming increasingly diversified, making operation strategies for energy storage projects more vital. LISINER deeply integrates smart energy storage technology and energy operation capabilities. It will replicate and extend successful experience from projects in Wenzhou, Zhoushan and other regions. Driven by dual engines of strategy and intelligent operation, LISINER will develop more exemplary high-quality energy storage projects to realize stable availability, continuous safety and long-term returns of energy storage assets, and make greater contributions to building the new power system.
